As the founder and owner of MAC Eyewear, Mark is incredibly proud of the company and its portfolio of eyewear. A portfolio that means that we can offer you, the independent optician, innovative and truly exciting collections that enable you to really show what an independent optician can offer. Constantly looking to take the business forward, Mark is always looking to bring in fresh ideas and to work more closely with opticians and suppliers, whilst spreading our message, that the independent optician, is still at the heart of everything we do. 

 

Outside of work, Mark is a devoted husband to Tatyana, father to his 2 children and is a huge fan of music, and can mostly be found in his car, travelling to see family, friends or customers, singing along to his favourite music! 

 

 

 

Since joining us in mid 2025, Tanya has become an invaluable member of the MAC Eyewear team. As the office manager, she is very happy to assist customers with queries, she really is at the heart of everything we do here in head office.

After recently becoming a partner in the company, Helen shares the sales efforts with Mark and so can be found in most areas of the UK. Working alongside Mark we are a small sales team, but one is never that far from you :) 

 

 

Helen Halpin has nearly 30 years experience in UK optical sales to independent opticians. As one of Mark’s longest-standing colleagues, Helen is responsible for sales and works alongside Mark in the development of our own collections. 

 

Outside of work, Helen can be found travelling in her camper at weekends with her friends and taking her own dog, a spaniel called Max for long walks. 

 

 

The office could not function without our lovely colleague Larry. Assisting Tanya with the imports and orders, she brings an amazing work ethic and such a positive and infectious smile.  

 

Larry completes our small but effective team here in the UK, but we also have so many colleagues working within our supply chain. We thank them all and although you may never meet them all, they work tirelessly to bring you some of the very best eyewear available.
