As the founder and owner of MAC Eyewear, Mark is incredibly proud of the company, its new team and its portfolio of eyewear. A portfolio that means that we can offer you, the independent optician, innovative and truly exciting collections that enable you to really show what an independent optician can offer. Constantly looking to take the business forward, Mark is always looking to bring in fresh ideas and to work more closely with opticians and suppliers, so to improve our portfolio and service levels. Since the recent changes in personnel, Mark is back on the road as much as possible, looking after customers from the South West, all the way up the west of the country to Scotland, including Yorkshire and the North East.. and now back in Ireland 

 

Outside of work, Mark is a devoted father to his 2 children and is a huge fan of music, and can mostly be found in his car, travelling to see family, friends or customers, singing along to his favourite music!

Nicole brings a wealth of experience to our administration, order processing and book keeping roles. Nicole has spent the first 3 months analysing our systems and has made some fantastic improvements. We are looking to automate our processes and so we thank Nicole for her endless positivity and hope that customers are starting to see a faster and more efficient service. 

 

We look forward to introducing you all to Nicole at the upcoming trade shows. 

 

Outside of work, Nicole is a lover of her beautiful Bulgarian rescue dog, Benson and can be found exploring new places and eating out. Sounds like she is working in the right place. 

 

London and South East Sales Account Manager

Our account manager for London and the South East, Alissa brings a huge amount of experience and customer relationships to her role. Based in Kent, she joined MAC in 2023 to develop her experience in our ‘niche optics’ area and has been fantastic in developing our business in her area. 

Outside of work Alissa is a devoted mum to her two children and is very family orientated. Alissa also has her own dog, who always seems to be eating something he most definitely shouldn’t! 

 

Midlands, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire Account Manager

The latest addition to our sales team, Helen Halpin has nearly 30 years experience in UK optical to independent opticians. As one of Mark’s long-standing colleagues, he was genuinely delighted to offer her the position of Midlands, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire account manager when the position became available. Being very well connected to her long-standing customers, Helen has settled in extremely well, so much so that she already feels like an invaluable member of the MAC team. 

Outside of work, Helen can be found travelling in her camper at weekends with her friends and taking her own dog, a spaniel called Max for long walks. 

 

 

MAC & PURE eyewear are delighted to announce that we have recruited  

a new sales support assistant. 

 

This role has dual purpose, assisting Mark with making his sales appointments and providing an extra layer of support, between the office and customer questions / queries.
